Curti, tiles (Red, white and pink clay)
This tile collection was designed in the historic furnace Curti of Milan, inside which history and noble, artisanal traditions of the city continue to live today. In fact, the aristocrat family Sforza was the one to commission the noble Giosuè Curti for the making of friezes, tiles and bricks in red clay, intended for the facade of Maggiore hospital (Ca’ Granda), based on the design of Antonio Averulino, known as the Filarete.
